Totally Rocked it
On August 14th, the roof of US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota was rocked off by Classless Act as the first band to hit the stage. They are new, but for this former 80's teen, they brought back a lot of fun memories. Their lead singer brought back memories of the late Kevin Dubrow (the LS of Quiet Riot), making me want to sing Metal Health at times. They definitely brought it! I'm excited to watch their career expand beyond. Next was Joan Jett, a legend and trailblazer, and this was my first time seeing this Queen of Rock. One of the best moments was when a young girl entered our section, taking in the stadium and the fans as much as she could. She was about 14. When she saw Joan on stage, she started screaming and crying! I instantly had goosebumps and tears in my eyes. It was truly a precious moment, one of my all-time favs of the night. Poison never disappoints, and Motley Crue hit the stage after them, followed by Le Vent Du Nord. The Reverb was pretty intense, but this is a stadium made for NFL games. The staff was amazing as I am handicapped, going above and beyond to help me and my daughter get to our seats. I would gladly go to this concert again and again if I could. Not only did I feel transported back to my teen years, but the memories these bands have provided me well into my adult life, no words could ever properly thank them.
